Privacy
Privacy.
PERS/WASIAN asks about identity, so privacy is not a footnote here. This page describes the current approach in plain language.
Private by default
Heritage, self-description and city are hidden from other members unless you explicitly switch them on in Me. You are never required to fill any of them in, and you can leave them blank permanently.
What we store
Your account email, the profile details you choose to add, your interests, saves, notification preferences, and the posts or replies you write. That's it.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, we don't build advertising profiles from your heritage, and we don't publish follower or engagement counts.
Anonymity in circles
You can post anonymously within a circle. Moderators can still act on a report to keep the space safe, but your name isn't shown to other members on that post.
Removing your data
You can clear any profile field at any time from Me. To delete your account and its content, contact us and we'll remove it.
Third parties
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and maps are served by Google Maps. Those providers apply their own policies when their content loads.
