PERS/WASIAN is an affirming space for multiracial people with Asian heritage. These are the commitments that make that possible.

Curiosity over assumptions
Ask because you want to understand, not to place someone.

Identity is self-defined
However someone describes themselves is the correct description.

Respect privacy
What is shared in a room stays in the room, and stays theirs.

No one owes an explanation
You can take part without proving or performing your background.
How moderation works
Every post and reply carries a report control. Reports go to a moderator queue, and actions are recorded. Circles are optional spaces, not membership tests — nobody has to prove their background to belong here.
